This was my first attempt at Couple portrait. For my first attempt, I feel like I got lucky. The couple I worked with were very easy to work with. It felt like it took a bit for them to warm up to the camera but honestly, I feel like it’s common.
As for my first couple photo shoot, I am so glad that I was able to capture, their chemistry together.
I am in love with all the images, but I have two favorites.
My first favorite is of them lying on the grass. I love the playfulness behind this one. I just had Angelica and Jonathan lay on the ground and interact with each other. I was able to capture them mid-conversation while playing with a stick.
I’m in love with the second one because of its simplicity but most importantly, it’s the way that Jonathan looks at Angelica. You can see the love he has for her on his face.
